The 7th Annual Sheldon-Trail Summer Jam will be held June 20-22 in Elk Grove, CA.  The tournament will feature 60 varsity boys’ basketball teams and over 170 games located at three high schools - Sheldon, Monterey Trail, and Elk Grove.  All games will be played on main courts with air-conditioning.  The format of the tournament includes 2 pool play games on Friday and Saturday and 5 seeded single-elimination tournaments on Sunday.

The Sheldon-Trail Summer Jam was established in 2008 to create a competitive and well-organized summer boys' varsity basketball tournament in the greater Sacramento area.  Today, the tournament has grown to become the largest and most competitive boys' varsity summer basketball tournament in Northern California.  The tournament includes teams from Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Merced, Fresno, the Bay Area, Chico, and Nevada.
